Info from Licensor: "A friend of mine gave me a couple dolls her daughter didn't want so I could build projects around them. An electronics hobbyist website sells coin acceptor devices that can be hooked up to home electronics, and I've always wanted to build something around one them. For some reason while looking at the coin acceptor, my brain put them together with the dolls and I got the idea of a shoe-box peepshow. I recorded some music, wired the thing together, programmed the micro-controller, figured out how the coin acceptor can be programmed to accept quarters and reject everything else, glued the doll to motors in the shoe-box, and recorded the video."
