Info from Licensor: "What started as a typical day on the ranch working cows quickly became one we wouldn’t forget. We’d heard the stories and seen the pictures of bucks getting their antlers locked and more often than not they die in the struggle. That fall day we witnessed that exact situation and were able to jump in before the inevitable were to happen. The options are fairly limited when you have two wild scared animals that are stuck together. We were able to rope the deer so that we could try to break them apart. The antlers weren’t easily coming apart so we had to saw off a portion to free the deer. Both deer, although exhausted, were able to get up and head for the trees. Without our intervention neither of these bucks would have made it through the night. Proud to be a rancher, not only do we care deeply about our livestock but also the land and all that it produces."
