Occurred on July 13, 2017 / Depoe Bay, Oregon, USA
Info from Licensor: "I was in the passenger seat, driving with my parents South on HWY 101 outside Depoe Bay. We slowed down as we approached a construction zone, and a truck carrying 13 2-ton bins lurched, or seemed unable to stop. One of the bins broke free from the truck and it spilled all over the tops of cars that were stopped. The liquid looked very odd. In slow motion, the truck continued to roll down hill, spilling bin after bin on about 4-6 cars. As the liquid came closer, we saw what was so unusual about it: live eels were flapping all over the road. It was disgusting. I called 911 and spoke to the operator."
