Occurred on September 3, 2018 / Navarre Beach, Florida, USA
Info from Licensor: "I heard some commotion among the fishermen so I looked east and saw a 'cloud' approaching, swimming along the beach. When it reached the pier, it turned south swimming along the pier instead of under it. I knew this is something I’ve never seen before and was probably a unique migratory move. I’ve only seen rays in captivity and a few singles along the pier sometimes. I've never seen a school like this. It was cool to see them like this because they almost fly through the water like a flock of birds. It just goes to show that you never know what you might see at the pier."
