Info from Licensor: "This bivalve shellfish is called Electric Clam. It glows when a light is shone on it. The light is thin and fantastic.
It does not emit light by itself. It has cells in its mantle that reflect ambient light, and when exposed to light from outside, it appears to reflect and glow.
It lives in the shadows of rocks, with its body fixed in place."
