Info from Licensor: "We bought the flamethrower over the summer but live in a pretty dangerous area for forest fires so winter time is the time to play with this. It’s just an adult gimmick toy. It doesn’t serve much of a purpose. I did shovel the driveway first but it had snowed while I was shoveling and started to ice up. Rather than using other chemicals, I brought the flamethrower out. It actually cleared the top layer of snow and ice build-up quite well. Then, the sun came out and did the rest! Seriously! There was no sustained heat on the driveway. Nothing broke. Nothing cracked. My neighbor used more gas in his blower than I did playing with this!"
