Info from Licensor: "On June 19th, 2023, around 7 pm, my cat Winston was hanging outside with his feline brothers on our back porch. I noticed the doe that had been traveling alone for quite some time, and frequently visited our yard to eat the corn we put out, was making her way through the woods to our grassy backyard. I was inside, quietly watching and waiting to see what events would unfold. I took out my phone and luckily realized if I use the zoom feature while recording, I could get a *somewhat clear* picture through the screen. Our other cats that were outside remained on our back porch, but I noticed Winston, who is 6, began to get a little curious. Winston waltzed down the porch stairs and took a few shy, dainty steps toward the deer. He then pounced toward the deer, almost as if he was trying to scare her. When the deer stomped her hooves and put her head down to sniff/greet Winston, he quickly darted away like the scaredy cat he is. I impressively managed not to squeal with excitement while capturing one of the best things I’ve ever seen. Winston and the deer have not, to our knowledge, experienced another encounter yet. I’m hoping their curiosity of one another continues to flourish and perhaps bring about a unique friendship."
