Occurred on March 5, 2023 / Worm's Head, Wales, UK
Info from Licensor: "My family visited Rhossili Bay to watch me paraglide and visit the bay in the morning. When we walked over to the Worm's Head we noticed that the coast guard was looking at the island with their binoculars. Little did we know there were three people stranded on the island. We could see that they could not walk over due to the tide had come in. One of the coast guard huts states the time when the tide comes in and when people visiting the island should walk back over. This was around 1:30 pm. We saw the people stranded around 2:30 pm. The coast guard sounded the horn to alert them to stay there and not to attempt to cross the shallow water. They just stood there for ages looking over whilst they put the siren on. We decided to leave after half an hour as the coast guards had to organize a rescue as it was dangerous for them to stay there due to the overnight weather conditions and no shelter."
