Info from Licensor: "Around 9pm on Sunday, January 15, the skies above Llandudno Beach turned orange. A fire had started above Logies Bay, barely 400m away from the occupied houses. Fortunately, the intense wind was blowing in a south easterly direction away from where sleepy residents were preparing to evacuate their houses if the direction should change, threatening the affluent surf village. Firefighters could only stand by and watch as the fire raged, protecting the houses and preventing the fire from jumping the road into the neighboring national park. The fire eventually flamed out as it hit the ocean."
