Info from Licensor: "We were at a South Australian beach with my sisters and boyfriend on New Year’s eve 2022. My boyfriend and I were out paddle boarding, when a large grey figure swam around the front of the board. Thinking it was a shark we began paddling to shore. That was when the whale surfaced right next to us. Still nervous we paddled back to shore. We called the other three over and paddled back out on the board to near where we saw the whale last. Within 30 seconds, it was back swimming around the board and with us in the water. Such an amazing experience with a really inquisitive animal."
