Info from Licensor: We are still calving on our Eastern Montana farm and ranch. It misted rain/sleet overnight and into the morning before the snow started at about 8:00 am. It stayed around 34°F most of the day and drove in snow/ice mix. All of the calves were tucked into the shelters and out of the elements, which is why you don’t see any in the video. It’s cooled off a bit now and has changed back to snow blowing in from the NW. The power has flashed off a few times, but came back on. I know many in our area are without power because the ice built up on the power lines and they started to buck in the wind. The blizzard is still raging and the wind is going to get stronger. Please keep all of the ranchers, linemen, emergency personnel, and the animals in your prayers. The moisture is sure nice but we’re all over this blizzard BS.
