Info From Licensor: "We rounded up all five herds of cattle on 27 Feb 22 and brought them to higher ground, but one herd had decided to go back out to the flat area. David went out on the tractor, as it was getting too deep for the quad bike, and brought them back to safety in the dark. We woke the next morning to find the 35 head had gone back out again and were standing up to their bellies in flood water! We tried calling them and they seemed very confused. Meanwhile, my sister came out to check out the floodwaters at 7am in the morning, she said she could get a kayak and herd them back again! The water was not flowing too much at this stage, so Lesley jumped on and took off. She was yelling and chased them to safety. We were so grateful for her help; she did amazing. We then put that herd across the road so they could not go back a 4th time. This was the biggest flood we have ever seen on this property."
