Info from Licensor: "I was making coffee with my French Press like I have twice a day for over a year. I was gently pushing the top down when the glass suddenly exploded. It burned my stomach and sprayed extremely hot coffee all over my kitchen. I am so thankful that my one and two-year-old children were not standing in the kitchen when this happened. It would have caused horrible burns if they were there."
