Info from Licensor: "My husband and I took our children trick or treating on Sunday during Vandalia's Beggars Night. I had left a bowl full of little goodie bags for the trick or treaters in our neighborhood. We got home and I told my husband I was going to check the cameras to see how many kids we had. I'd say we went through it all in thirty minutes! Then I saw the video of this sweet boy. He came up to the bowl and noticed it was empty. I heard his mom calling for him saying it was ok and that they had enough candy. He went to leave and stopped and looked around. And then, that's when he did the most amazing thing! He took some of his own candy and left it for someone else! He seemed excited to do it. It was really touching. I was in tears and so was my daughter! I shared the video to our community Facebook page because it felt like a breath of fresh air to see such an act of kindness from such a young person, especially with how the world is right now. I have replayed the video over and over. It is the little things in this life."
