Info from Licensor: This is a video of a few of the clips from two days of watching brown bears discover a gray whale that has washed up close to shore. It is amazing how quickly they discover the whale and the interaction of the different bears. It starts out with a mama bear and her two cubs and a younger bear waiting its turn, to two bears that dominate for a while until a much bigger bear takes over. The video is taken on a boat so it's not so steady. I also took many photos in the two days we were able to witness this incredible sight. This is a small young gray whale, hard to know what the cause of death was but the bears are quite happy that it floated to shore and they will take care of it in short order.
