Info from Licensor: "As to what happened, only theories at this time. It was a perfectly open lane on I-65 South at Exit 140 in Lebanon, Indiana. I'm not sure if the driver was distracted, suffered a medical emergency, or if the truck suffered a steering issue, or an attempted late exit and aborted which seems less likely. Nevertheless, he hit those water barrels and concrete construction barricades, fully blocking the exit and disabling the truck. Luckily I was far enough back that I didn't need to perform evasive maneuvers. Though since I record now on a GoPro for my dashcam, 120 frames per second is great for slow motion, I've rewatched it several times now and noticed details I didn't before like the debris blocking the exit after impact or the degree of the steering wheel being broken.
