We've helped rescue almost 1,000 bears from bear bile farms and the illegal wildlife trade. We've built and operate rescued bear sanctuaries in three countries. With little protected forest suitable for release, we'll most likely need to care for the rescued bears for life, up to 40 years. To make up for the suffering the bears have endured prior to rescue, we give them the best life possible - world-class vet care, healthy diets, daily enrichments to stimulate their complex minds, and large forest enclosures containing hammocks, caves, climbing platforms, and swimming pools.
