It wasn’t until I started graduate school at SMU Cox School of Business that I woke up one Saturday and thought how great it would be to have the time to pick up an outdoor hobby like archery. I had no real knowledge of archery, but within the hour, I had jumped in my car and was sitting in an archery safety presentation at an indoor shooting facility I had found roughly 30 minutes from my apartment. Fast forward a few weeks and I had bought my own gear / was stomping around the woods at Elm Fork Range in Dallas, TX watching YouTube videos on technique and teaching myself how to shoot a bow."
