Info from Licensor: "We woke up at 4:00 am to a loud crashing noise. I went to the window and opened the blinds and the bear walked right past the window. I ran back to my room to grab my phone and my husband and was able to get the video of him tearing up the deck. He was there trying to get in the trash can for 5 minutes and managed to destroy the can and got half a bag of trash before running into the woods. We heard him come back about 10 minutes later but there was no more trash. We thought about scaring him off but had our son inside and didn’t want to take the risk. Plus he was 20 ft from our front door and that was too close to consider opening it to scare him. We get black bears in the area but never really see grizzlies in the neighborhood like that. This guy was really smart and knew what he was doing."
