Occurred on December 28, 2018 / Roca Partida, Mexico
Info from Licensor: "These Whitetip Reef Sharks are resting along the side of a volcanic island named Roca Partida of the Revillagigedo Archipelago in Mexico. The water is too deep, so they find these areas along the wall to rest during the day. At night they become active and hunt for food.
This kind of behavior does not happen in too many parts of the World and is a very rare sight. The remote location 300 miles off of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico makes it a difficult area to visit. This area is also a UNESCO World Heritage site and is protected from fishing and development. It is guarded by the Mexican Navy."
