Occurred on April 15, 2019 / British Columbia, Canada
Info from Licensor: My partner Branden and I (and our two dogs...you can hear Scout barking toward the end of the video) were traveling from Friday Harbor, Washington to Juneau, Alaska in the month of April, aboard our 50ft Sailboat, “Hopscotch”. We run sailing charters in Washington State and plan to do so in Alaska next Summer. On our way North we had just anchored in a bay near Bella Bella, British Columbia on April 15th when on the other side of the bay we noticed splashing. Then we could see a huge dorsal fin. It became clear there were some Orca! Branden went down to grab the Hydrophone to have a listen. The Orcas swam near us on the way to the other side of the bay.
