Info from Licensor: "On Wednesday around 2:00 pm I was driving east on Rt. 58 from Emporia, Virginia at 60 mph. As I approached the intersection of Rt. 58 and Bus. 58, I noticed a logging truck in the right lane and a state trooper waiting to cross the road onto Bus. 58. As I came up to the intersection, a black car was moving to cross the road to head west on rt. 58. He never stopped and when I realized he was not going to stop, I hit the gas in hopes of him missing me. He hit my Toyota pickup truck in the right rear wheel and bumper which sent me sideways. Out of instinct, I turned the wheel toward the skid and managed to keep the truck from rolling over. I swerved all over the road but managed to gain control. No one was injured and the other driver was cited for failure to yield. The state trooper was an eye witness."
