Info from Licensor: "Wildsong Wildlife provides state and federally licensed rehabilitation for hummingbirds. We rescue injured and orphaned birds so they can be released back to the wild. This chick was in shock and near death when he came into our care. We were able to pull him out of torpor (semi-consciousness) and get him stabilized."
